If the American people take the SO WHAT? attitude about no WMD found , then I guess we are sending a signal that we no longer care about Gestapo-style tactics. Lies. Propaganda to win a war is nothing new. Propaganda to formulate policy is manipulation and dangerous. The recent story of the lies and manipulation in the false cocaine busts in Texas show the Texas politics and bigotry that's O.K. to the Rush Limbaughs of the world. Guilty till proven innocent.

Does anyone remember the stories about George H.W. Bush's ambassador, April Gillespie, told Iraq that if they attacked Kuwait, the U.S. would consider it a arab affair and would not intervene? This after supporting Iraq in war against Iran!!! Is it any wonder that our founding fathers did not trust our federal Government? If it walks like a snake, talks like a snake, and looks like a snake, well, maybe it's a snake. I feel like saying "I'm glad they are on our side." But I'm not so sure they are. Some are having doubts- Is he really a conservative? I have doubts as to is he really a christian? He is in skull and bones- a secret society. Ever notice the skull and Bones symbols on Nazi Military officer's caps? Ever read about W's grandfather Prescott Bush, who was a director at the Union Banking Corporation when it had it's assets siezed by the U.S. government under the trading with the enemy act in WW2?( Iread that on the net, wrote a letter to the editor twice in a newspaper with a circulation of 30-50 thousand and no one rebutted it. So I believe it. I do not have the resources to thoroughly investigate this. But I tend to believe it. Saddam's sons were so scary CNN did not tell of their plans to assassinate -who- Jordans leader? But how scary was Prescott Bush years ago when the media remained mostly silent about Prescott Bush who after the Bank's bust became head of the USO and then a U.S. Senator? I wonder if my uncle who fought in WW2 went to a USO entertainment noty realizing that the same money that brought the show also brought him the OTHER show-WW2 and Hitler? I see Bush & company compare Hitler with saddam. I get a bit annoyed. I see the stories about US oil companies living fat and happy in compounds in nigeria and outside the gates the African villagers eating clams out of the same river they exrete urine and feces into. It all seems ironic. "Saddam lived like a king when his people were hurting" I hear that and I am surprised an oilman like Bush thinks it's notable, that anyone would find that odd. I think how Spain supported Bush in the war, and think of the oil spill on their northern coast fisheries not too long ago and wonder if it's blackmail. I see Bush and Blair bragging how they and their coalition attacked Iraq when the public peoples of their nations did not support it. And why did they attack Iraq? Because Saddam did not listen to the will of his people. I am annoyed. And why did the coalition form? Because the U.N. did not support the war. And our old allies did not support the war. If the democrats win the next election what happens to Dubya's shadow government? Who's in power? The world is looking like the western movie -"the good the bad and the ugly". Instead of gold, it's oil though. Which ought to tell anyone who drives to church in a SUV that God saw them out of the corner of his stained glass window and winces "DOHH" , just like homer simpson. I think we'd all better realize what we actually are putting in our gas tanks is blood. Conserve? Rush limbaugh and his ilk are constantly calling anyone who likes our environment WACKOS and KOOKS. It surprises me not that 95% of my Daviess County, Ky. USA streams are described as polluted in the local paper. And no one wrote a letter to the editor about that. But they did write when a University of Ky basketball game was interupted on the TV. Someone I know will read this and think about the same thing happenining in their town. High school kids are paid 90,000,000 dollars now by Nike. I think Nike could have got good publicity by giving half the cash to the kid and the other half to the community. Nah, they might be environmentalist Union employees or something.
