Update on Ko Lanta
There has been a lot of interest in the post The Tsunami from Ko Lanta Thailand. Some people are looking for people they know from the island and area, so check out the comments for that post.
From what I can find, it looks like Ko Lanta is trying to get back to normal as quickly as possible.
If you are looking for someone who was at a resort in Ko Lanta, Lantainfo.com has a list of the phone numbers for the resorts, and suggests you call the resort directly. They also have several pages of pictures from the island.
mythicaldude is a blogger from a dive school on Ko Lanta, and reports that many of the resorts are now reopened.
There are a number of sites attempting to reconnect people, and provide information.

Resorts reopening so soon? Business as usual, who cares how many diseases might be floating in the water supplies. What about damaged buildings and debris, aftershocks/afterwaves? Will we never learn?
