Beetles Named After Bush, Cheney And Rumsfeld

This is just too choice to not spread around. While many want a star named after them, the highest profile figures of the current administration have the honor of beetles named after them. Two politically conservative entomologists (Quentin Wheeler and Kelly Miller) have named three newly discovered mould-eating beetles after Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld. As the scientists note: "We are two of the only politically conservative scientists around, and we decided to stick our necks out."

Agathidium bushi is found in North Carolina,Virginia and Ohio; Agathidium cheneyi and Agathidium rumsfeldi are both found in Mexico.
