Back to 9/11

Anyone who has read Uncommon Thought for a while knows that I think the Bush administration was at least complicit in the events of September 11, 2001. That has labeled me as a "conspiracy theorist" in some quarters, but the facts, the reports and the spin just don't add up. Too add either more fuel to the fire, or more credence to my gut feeling, Representative Curt Weldon is having a Pentagon employee who was ordered to destroy 2.5 terabytes of files on Mohammed Atta testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Just for your information, the destroyed data is part of operation "Able Danger" - which the 9/11 Commission said was pure fabrication - and is equivalent to about 1/4 the data in the Library of Congress. Read this Associated Press article - Weldon: Atta Papers Destroyed on Orders (9/16/05).
