Marching For Peace
Yesterday and today people across the world are marking the third grim anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The US government marked the date with a massive shock and awe campaign in Samarra (Operation Swarmer). People are marking the day with calls to end the war. The main march in Portland starts at 1:30 from Waterfront Park, north of the Morrison Bridge, downtown Portland. It is expected to end at roughly 4:30.
