Stop the War! Troops Home Now!
Portland will join cities across the country in calling for an end to the war in Iraq, and to call our troops home on Sunday, March 18th. The Information below is for the Portland Oregon activities.
This is a permitted event with citizen peace monitors
The Rally and March start place has been moved to the South Park Blocks at SW Park and Madison. The rally and march start at 1:30 pm.
There is also a Peace Action Camp which will be open from 12:00 5:00.
The Peace Action Camp will feature a youth speakout tent, a citizen lobby Congress tent, peace art, and informational materials.
Four years is way too much. March 18th is the sad anniversary of the start of the invasion of Iraq.

Last year it seemed to me there was barely a blip in the news, this year since pro bush, persumably pro Iraq war supporters are getting pictures taken etc. etc.
Karl Rove will be happy !
