I took my Kitten for her last booster. She recieved her rabis vaccination at the same time. She lost her appetite and wouldnt eat her dry food so I got her Science diet Savory cuts in a can. She ate it all. Soon she began vomiting and had diarrhea. She quit using her litter box and was going on the carpet. Soon her stools were like a slimey clear phlegm. I took her to the vet about 5 times in one week and she even had to spend one night in the urgent care unit. I began feeding her only the prescribed food I got from the vet and today she is still weak and sits around a lot. She is not herself at all. I massage her tummy and back and she responds well to it. For the sake of the dogs that don't have a choice it's good you posted this info.

I hope there is a price to be paid by these pet food mfg., beyond what the so-called free market charges. Losing a pet is just as sad, and in come cases worse, than losing a human.

I have been thru a heart transplant, dialysis, and a kideny transplant, if I didn't have a pet at my side I think I would have ended it a long time ago.
