Pet Food Update
Latest info from the FDA
There have been several changes in the pet food recall. The recall has been extended to some more varieties of both canned AND dry pet foods. While it looks to me like there is confusion still over what the exact problem is, veterinarians are now recommending to not feed any food (wet or dry) that has wheat gluten in it.
Meanwhile, the FDA has named Xuzhou Anying Biologic Technology Development Co. Ltd. from China as the source of the gluten, and has mandatory monitoring on any wheat gluten from China or the Netherlands.

It appears that nothing is safe to eat anymore; not even for our pets. So much for all that mass production. And all the life that still goes hungry in spite of it all.

I appreciate the new updates on pet food recall. The list gets longer and longer but I think it is not over by a long shot.
I hope purina Fancy Feast etc. wet food is going to be tested because it looks and smells really bad.
