Pause to Remember and Support

Today is the three year anniversary of the killings at the Hacienda Luisita sugar mill in the Philippines. Workers were peacefully protesting (by picketing the mill) the stealing of the land by Cojuangco clan who owns the sugar mill when the military began firing into the crowd. Twelve adults and two children were killed and many more wounded.
