Upcoming Peace March
We have come round to yet another anniversary (the fifth) of the invasion of Iraq AND WE ARE STILL THERE!
There are peace marches across the country. Check for one near you at 5 Years Too Many
For those in the Portland Oregon area there will be a march Saturday March 15th. For complete information check PDX Peace. Below is the general information.
The march will start in the South Park Blocks (SW Madison and Park).
10am-6pm Action Camp
2 pm rally and march.
There is an exciting line-up of music as well .

Posted by: bill at March 10, 2008 9:24 AMI would like to ad an additional note, you can pick up free posters, buttons, post card flyers, at the American Friends Service Committee on 22nd & Burnside, the leave a box on the front porch full of stuff for the MARCH. You can leave a donation at the same time.
But the real point is pick up lots of the full length posters and take to the places you do business with, where you shop,... yes I know it is subtle pressure, but as I told everybody, Hey I am also a Veteran for Peace and would appreciate it very much if you would post this. Thanks
Most told me somebody brought by the posters last week. And, they would up my poster right away.
