On the Front Line

If folks missed it, PBS is running a multi-part series called "Bad Voodoo's War." It is available online at this PBS link. "Bad Voodoo" is a National Guard unit that has be deployed multiple times to Iraq. The program is their documenting of their experience with video direct from them while they are deployed. It is exceptional - and heartbreaking.

The pressure this unit is under is amazing. During the current tour, they have been deployed to escort supplies from Kuwait throughout Iraq. They are on duty for days at a time, and on the road for months at a time.

I really encourage people to watch this program. It IS what the troops are going through.
